Tomakin Sports Club

Mammoth Projects refurbished Tomakin Sports Club to create an open and functional space for all patrons to enjoy the coastal views. Much of the original club, including the entryway, bistro, upper gaming room and outdoor space, was demolished to make way for the refurbishment. Mammoth redid the bistro area to create a more European-style restaurant, adding a new pizza oven and natural timber tables to expand the menu and seating capacity. The upper gaming room was replaced with a new café seating area for more guests to be welcomed into the space and enjoy the club.

A fantastic feature added to the design was the new kid’s play area which includes six arcade machines and a toddler play area. Large wall-length games of Noughts and Crosses, Scrabble, and Connect Four
were installed to be played quickly and collaboratively while parents enjoy the coastal views.

Outside saw a Hamptons-style pergola incorporated and low height fence installed to create a feature
of the river’s edge, which can be seen from the club’s exterior. A shipping container bar provides patrons with local craft beers and cocktails and a large deck off the side of the self-contained bar to accommodate extra seating and live musicians.
