Mammoth Projects hosts an annual charity drive to raise money in support of Little Wings.
Little Wings is a not-for-profit organization that provides free flights and ground transport for children with life threatening illnesses. The charity provides these services to children and their families in regional and rural New South Wales. Children are transported to and from specialized treatment at the Children’s Hospital at West mead, The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, The John Hunter Children’s Hospital in Newcastle and Royal Far West in Manly. Little Wings supports families by easing the financial burden, emotional strain, and fatigue that they experience due to the long-distance travel associated with receiving vital medical treatment.
“Little Wings is a small charity located at Bankstown Airport.Daily we support seriously ill children from regional and rural NSW in accessing life-saving medical treatment that is otherwise unavailable in their hometowns. Our service is completely free, aimed at support families in meaningful ways for the duration of their medical journey… but our mission is only made possible because of the incredible support and partnership that we receive, such as that found with Mammoth Projects. Over the past 5 years, Mammoth have sponsored a staggering 203 missions, helping over 100 families in the battle of their lives. The partnership with Mammoth Projects is a lifeline for Little Wings and the families we support… families that you will never meet but are deeply impacted by their generosity and kindness. The partnership between Little Wings and Mammoth Projects is an incredible example of true collaboration, and we are deeply honoured to be connected with such a motivated and inspirational community of people.” – Clare Pearson, CEO for Little Wings Below are two local communities we support through sponsorship.

Every year, Mammoth proudly supports Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving club, Australia’s most iconic surf club. The first surf club, established in February 1907, Bondi plays a key role shaping Australia’s surf lifesaving movement, and beach culture and is the pioneer of the surf reel, patrols and proficiencies, as well as the famous red and yellow caps. Volunteer lifesavers have made over 25 thousand rescues since foundation.
Bondi Beach is one of the 4 main sights in Australia (along with the Opera House, Great Barrier Reef and Uluru) and 40% of all tourists visit during their stay. Our volunteer lifesavers give up their weekends and public holidays to keep watch over beachgoers all summer long. In the cooler months they train, up skill and prepare for the busy season ahead. Every year, over 20 thousand hours of volunteer patrols keep the beach safe.”
