Mammoth Projects constructed Mt Annan Childcare, operated by The Grove Academy, that holds 120 people across a 900sqm structure that sprawls across a 2,700sqm site.

The design provides a capacity for five different age groups, with children ranging from 0-5 years of age. The centre is landscaped from their 30 car parking to their back of house and extensive outdoor play areas tailored to all age groups that attend the childcare centre. Among the many playrooms, a cot room, a full commercial kitchen, and a laundry room are included in the centre’s construction.

The project required changes to the surrounding environment, including works conducted over an existing sewer line and around a substation kiosk, and an existing roundabout required modifications to be made. Due to these changes, the project required careful consideration to all nearby neighbours of the childcare centre. Mammoth’s solution to having little impact on the surroundings was to complete the works during regular business hours. We included extra protection for the safety of workers and the public, all whilst maintaining traffic flow to the adjacent Mt Annan Central Shopping Centre.
