Mammoth was engaged by The Stockland Group on a Design and Construct contract to bring the Willowdale Childcare centre to the developing area of Denham Court for Goodstart Early Learning. The centre includes over 1000sqm of extensively landscaped play areas, 400sqm+ of external covered patios and 850qm of internal spaces. The Mammoth team completed this project on a 12-month programme, including three months of design development and nine months of on-site construction.

Some features for this project include:

• Extensively landscaped play areas customised to the age groups of children
• A large car park for parents and staff with 30 spaces
• Extensively raked ceilings reach 5.5m at highest points
• Modern joinery throughout
• Hardwood timber pergola with fibreglass roof
• Natural surfaces and finishes to both the façade and landscaped areas. Composite materials were used to ensure minimal ongoing maintenance and longevity whilst still providing natural textures and visuals
• Extensive glazing to provide natural light to all rooms, corridors, learning spaces and nurseries
